Location
At Genie we have an office in Cambridge available for all team members 24/7, however, we work on a distributed team model. Genie believes that a distributed team is a more powerful model than the traditional office - or even hybrid - models. It increases autonomy and productivity by allowing us to learn and choose how, where and when we do our most effective work.
We also believe that face-to-face (F2F) remains the best format for certain types of work, and is important in building meaningful relationships with colleagues, customers and other partners.
There will be certain types of work that will require us to be in-person, whether in our office hub or other venue. For example, as a client facing business there are certain requirements for client meetings which could be in-person at the client's location or our own office hub. Attending these types of meetings in-person will be a requirement of the role, with expenses provided in correlation with our expense policy.
These F2F meetings would be planned in advance with a minimum of 1 week notice to make the required arrangements (but are usually planned further in advance). Where possible they would be organised alongside other pre-planned meetings; team training days, company socials etc. to limit the travelling requirements and maximise the best usage of our time.
We look forward to receiving your application!
Closing date: Friday 9 August 2024
